This flat style is the most breathable of the several styles of n95 I’ve tried, and the masks do a decent job of preventing the coughing of my glasses.

  43. Yoginvin. (NH, United States)

While it has a nice snug fit in general, the bottom section tends to slide up off the chin. What I like the most is the foam band across the nose which keeps the breath from fogging eye glasses and provides some comfort.

  47. Stemoss. (AZ, United States)

These fit small faces perfectly. The contoured and wide nose piece (about 1” x 6”) is high-quality FOAM! Very comfortable and tight fit. I tried them with my glasses and did not experience fogging like with other masks. The two blue stretchy bands that go around your head feel more comfortable than the ones on the original type of N95 mask. These are more like stretchy light foam than a rubber band feels. I like the way the mask can be pulled down to fit completely under your chin. Complete coverage right under your eyes, below your chin, and on the sides. If you have a big face or large double chin, I’m not sure these would work for you. Also, they arrive all individually packaged in clear plastic – great for keeping them clean until use. There is a slightly weird smell to them, that’s about the only negative.

  55. Ted1p. (MD, United States)

Mask worked great. The foam strip over the nose helped with the foggy glasses problem.
The upper rubber strap broke after 2 uses and 2 more times after I took it apart and put it back together.

If the rubber strap would not break, i would give this mask a 5-star review and buy more.

  63. Triciatrieux. (OH, United States)

These masks are a good fit for smaller adult faces, in contrast to the other 3M N95s that are shaped differently — the kind you see on construction sites, etc. They work well with glasses too.

I am glad that this is even available! The best N95 mask I know of. Nice seal with foam around the nose.
stays on with 2 straps. Easy to get on and off. I do not like the contractor N95’s This is a medical version and is very comfortable.

I am a nurse on the front lines and I am a high risk due to my age and being a cancer survivor. I wear a N95 8-16 hours a day in a hospital. These are far more comfortable than the ones the facility provides.

  69. Mattheretics. ( WI, United States)

These are my favorite n95s. They have the best seal and most comfort out of all the 3m n95s in my opinion. The nose cushioning is great for wearing the mask for long hours and helps contain the seal perfectly. I will continue to buy these masks.

  71. Mikus. (WA, United States)

Efficient particle filtration, good for these Covid times. N95 is nearly as good as M95 which is not available outside the Medical profession. I rotate the use of three or four and clean them with hydrogen peroxide. Do not have fog glasses or moto helmets. Stay tight at 55 mph.

  75. Karihart1986. (OH, United States)

I am a nurse. Although I was not fit-tested, these are pretty universal. I was traveling and wore them at the airport, on flights, and while I was out of town. I changed them out every 8 hours. There was a good seal and I had condensation inside the mask as I spent significant time outdoors in the cold. I tested negative for coronavirus upon my return. These are also more comfortable than the molded form and stay sealed with speech and movement.

  77. Kiwilady. (ND, United States)

This brand is my favorite N95. Confirms to my face well, lightweight elastic bands and a foam band under the eyes and across the bridge of the nose that seals air once you get it fitted. No more fogged glasses.

  81. Markland. (DE, United States)

I used to work in the medical field, but since the pandemic I have tried numerous N95 and FDA whitelisted KN95 masks because I am immunocompromised. I also wear progressive glasses, which has been problematic even with a mask that makes a good seal, because they push my glasses up too far. These are perfect!

  83. feelingood77. (NJ, United States)

Snug fit – noticeably different from KN95 which a N95 should be. Despite snug fit, design is reasonably comfortable. Snug but cushioned nose portion of mask prevents glasses from fogging and is an indication of how well protected the wearer is. I’ve worked in human contaminatiin control for fourty years so NIOSH approval along with snug fit indicates to me that the user has a much lower chance of contamination when used properly – unlike the masks I see most people using.

  85. Ellinikky. (GA, United States)

Filtration seems excellent, sponge bridge seal is great, metal in the bridge is strong and of good length. No certification documentation, just the standard 3m stampings on the masks, but this company has been selling 3m forever and can be audited, so no legitimacy concerns from me.

These have blue rubber straps, and they wear fine for a couple of days, but beyond that, they don’t snap back completely. On me, the loss of stretch didn’t seem to affect the seal until 3-4 days of use.
Also, despite claims, they do fog my glasses. The nose bridge seal is sometimes the issue and is easily fixed by adjusting the bridge wire. It seems the style just creates less resistance for breath to exhaust upward, than forward, and that can fog lenses. These are better than other masks, though.

The fit is impressive and secure, and I use these with confidence daily, both at work, and in general for virus avoidance. I wish the straps were more durable, but they are definitely a high-quality protective product.

  87. Jcp-az. (MI, United States)

I have a smaller face and many of the masks I’ve used in the past year (blue procedure, KN95, cloth) don’t provide a tight fit. With more contagious virus strains in circulation, I wanted a better-fitting/filtering mask. I ordered a small supply of these to try and was very pleased to find that the fit was excellent. They look and feel like quality masks–certainly better than any others I’ve tried. It’s a little more of a hassle getting them on and off, but it’s a small price to pay for better protection. I liked them so much I ordered more and will be giving them to the rest of my famil

Very good fit and comfort if you put it on right and wear it. Problem is it is not over the ears. That style gives you a poor air lock. These are surgical grade.

the box came in perfect condition and the masks were individually wrapped. the mask is a tight fit on me but it’s not too bad. if you have a bigger head or lots of hair it might be too small. the headbands are held on by staples on the mask but I did a stretch test and they seem to be on there securely and they don’t fog my glasses!!

  96. Michael S. (OH, United States)

I work in healthcare and had to use a variety of N95’s, but these masks by far exceeded any other N95’s in comfort. They came in small sizes, though. I have a small face and have to clip the mask under my chin to make sure the air does not leak. Still, when given a choice, will not wear another brand/style.

The smell to me smells like the auto parts store I worked at as a teenager..rubbery I guess..with that being said I open mine up and let it air for a short time and it goes away and hasn’t irritated me at all. As a massage therapist trying to work without getting sick I am very happy to get these!

So comfortable compared to those dome-shaped N95 respirators. Good seal, doesn’t pull too tightly. Breathable enough; wore on plane (10 hours total) with no discomfort. Each in the pack of 3 came individually wrapped – great for tossing into a bag. Just ordered another 20!

Awesome product. I have a wider bigger face and work construction. wearing all day during a pandemic is no problem And super comfortable. Does not rub on the nose or mouth, and does not get “fuzzy” inside from my facial hair stubble creating a “Velcro” effect like other masks. plenty of room inside the mask. Best mask I have worn yet and I’ve been trying them all cause nothing fits me correctly. Love this mask

I ordered a box of these masks. They stretch, but leave rubber band marks on the face. I wear glasses, and found that the foam and wire support worked so that my glasses did not fog. I have a larger than average head, so that might account for the slight discomfort. No problem, I just adjusted the rubber bands higher, and that helped it fit more comfortably.

Cloth masks look cool, but they don’t really work that great. And the 3M masks are an OK substitute for when you can’t get the real thing. But now you can.

If you are going to wear a mask, wear the best one you can get. This mask is comfortable, reduces the fogging on your glasses, and offers better protection than most others.

This mask is the most comfortable I have ever worn. It has a foam piece on the nose for comfort. It never fogs my glasses. It does not trap the exhaled air so the mask never gets hot and is very comfortable. I could breathe very easy. I totally recommend.

  112. Carrie. ( FL, United States)

I believe this is an authentic N95 mask. It almost completely blocks out all smells around me. I’ve walked through chemical smells like those in nail salons, rubbing alcohol, cigarette smoke etc, and strong food smells like steaks cooking, garlic, etc and I can barely smell them when I’m wearing this mask. As soon as I take the mask off, I can smell them completely. If a smell can’t get through it, then it must be protected to a high standard. It’s definitely better than any other mask I’ve worn! It’s super comfortable and has foam padding at the nose piece and you can adjust it to your nose size. It’s easy to breathe through as well and doesn’t press against your lips. The straps go around the back of your head and not your ears which is a slight pain because it will mess up a good hair day, but it fits securely and comfortably.

A great upgrade from cloth masks. A good , tight fit, lets you know you are breathing through the filters, so that you may use them with confidence. If you try to reuse them, after about a week, the rubber band will tend to snap. That might be a good thing, so you don’t over use them,

These masks are surprisingly comfortable and easy to breathe through. The only thing I dislike is that the straps go around the back of your neck, not over your ears. The straps are made out of rubber band like material and it catches on my hair and breaks my hair off. For this reason I would try to find a version of these that wraps around the ears instead of the back of the neck.

These arrived in a sealed 3M company box. Each mask was sealed in it’s own wrapper. Very pleased with these. Comfortable and not too difficult to breathe with them on. I had to alter them to fit as ear bands instead of going around the head as I am bald and I don’t want strap marks on my head!

  131. Mary Smith. (NC, United States)

This really works great. Can definitely tell a difference between this and other masks. My only complaint is the rubber straps. They don’t stay in place well.

After reading several reviews below I thought I should share my experience. They came in a 3M box. The batch numbers match. They do have a rubber smell when opened. I attribute it to the foam nose piece (more on that below). The straps are like rubber bands. This is in late October 2021.
The masks fit and seal well. Perhaps the best fitting of the masks I’ve tried. I like the foam nose piece. Not only does it make the mask more comfortable, but it also does a better job of keeping my glasses from fogging.
Overall, if you want a tight fit, prefer straps around the head instead of around the ears, and wear glasses these seem to be a good choice.

  137. Butterfly. (NY, United States)

I use this mask when flying because it is much more comfortable than the basic N95 design from 3M. It is over-the-head so that makes it a bit more difficult to put on and off, but at least your ears get a rest. I also like that it folds flat, a very useful feature for packing an extra mask in your bag.

Good fit for wide face. Glasses don’t fog as much even with heavy breathing.

  140. San G. (MN, United States)

Not to tight and no leak. It is the most comfortable N95 that I have tried.

  141. Helen S. ( NV, United States)

These are my most comfortable and preferred in 95 masks.

  142. Lynet. ( NY, United States)

Be done with the beak! This mask is flatter and lifts off your nose so you breathe! I’ve tried many and glad to find this top of the line.

    Good for smaller faces.

THESE MASK HAVE A GREAT FIT..!! I HAVE A SMALL FACE & HEAD BUT THEY FIT ME BEAUTIFULLY..!! I KNOW I’M PROTECTED SINCE IT US A NIOSH APPROVED MASK..!! 3M DID A NICE JOB ON THIS MASK..!! THANK YOU..!!

  145. Nat M. Zorach. ( TX, United States)

I’ve gone through a few of these in as many weeks. They’re comfortable for long term wear, and my one survived two cross country trips in an aeroplane. I appreciate that they have enough space inside the mask to absorb slash disperse breathing, which is sometimes a problem with the masks with the closer fit. The elastic straps broke on the longest-lived one, though. I may attribute it to my huge head, which makes the likes of hat shopping difficult. I’m giving them 4/5 stars because of the strap issue,

  146. Kevin R. (WA, United States)

These are the best fitting N95 mask I’ve tried so far, I’m so happy with them. The straps are extremely well placed on the mask and provide a secure fit across the face without making your ears sore after hours of wear. The nose bridge is also very effective and secure. This is the ONLY N95 mask I’ve been able to wear with my glasses on and not suffer lens fogging, because, again, the fit is ON POINT!

  147. A. Norton. (UT, United States)

I liked the configuration of the mask, and especially how well it seals on the top edge. It prevents glasses fogging during use. I also appreciate that it is N95 rated. On the other hand, I don’t care for the two elastic loops that go around your head; these are less comfortable than ear loops and make placement and removal a less convenient two-hand procedure.

  148. Buyer Z. (SC, United States)

I have tried a number of N95 masks. These 3M masks are the best I have found. I wanted a well made mask that can meet NIOSH standards. These masks fit well, are comforable, and have sturdy bands that can easily be stretched to fit over your head. I would not hesitate to purchase more.

  149. Richard Baker. ( OH, United States)

Mask fits well with a great seal. Comfortable for hours.

  150. Nancy J.Siegel. (NY, United States)

These are the same as used by my doctors at the VA. I find it easier to breathe with this mask and , very important to me, is the comfort. These are individually wrapped and take a little practice to get on quickly. However, the foam nose piece molds to the face for a tight seal. Best mask I have bought since the pandemic started.

  151. Luna Tuna. (MN, United States)

I am a petite woman and these 3m Aura masks are the best I have tried out of countless others since 2021. The nose bridge is amazing and gives that perfect fit I could get with no other mask. Mask designed to expand out in front so it actually possible to breathe and speak when donned and for long stretches of time. The chin area is also amazing because it fits securely low on chin for a good seal.

  152. Becky Espinoza. (NH, United States)

These masks are comfortable with enough space for your mouth and nose that you don’t feel like you’re breathing your own funk. The nose seal is among the best I’ve experienced and the chin tab lets you feel fully covered

  153. Mar. (LA, United States)

The Aura is the most comfortable design I’ve found for an N95 mask- when worn correctly it’s got a nice soft feel that does not cause your glasses to fog.
It does have a slight chemical smell that takes some getting used to, and like all true-blue N95 masks it can get sweaty if you wear it a long time (and I can’t run with it on, it’s too insulated) but the overall construction is sound. I trust 3M and use this model when I need extra good coverage (traveling on a plane, etc.). I don’t love the wrap-around headband style but it wouldn’t be a true N95 without it. These are also very durable masks – the elastic handles well if you’re careful taking it on and off during the day and it folds down nicely in my purse when I need it. Good wire for the nosepiece. I trust 3M and these are the real masks.

  154. CCYLEVIN. (ID, United States)

These are the most comfortable N95’s I’ve come across. They are the only ones my family didn’t reject

  155. Anonymous Geek. (FL, United States)

These are very nice. They use normal headbands, not earloops, and the bands are very stretchy and easy to put on. The mask fits well and fully covers the nose and mouth area. The mask extends lower than some so it makes it easier to speak without the mask slipping out of position. The nose adjustment is excellent, making it a good fit for your face.

The mask is not as tight to the face as some 3M but still seems to seal very well. It should be suitable for a variety of face sizes.

    Excellent product.
