On Monday, Boise State Athletics announced shutting down of its football activities due to poor COVID-19 practices. Consequently, Broncos and Central Michigan Chippewas will not compete in the Arizona Bowl which was scheduled on Friday in Tucson. Boise State’s took the respective decision after consulting with its medical staff and public & campus health officials.
Boise State Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey said that it is a heartfelt moment for the young men in the program who were looking forward to executing their seasons and footballs careers. He further expressed his gratitude to Kym Adair and her crew at the Arizona Bowl for putting on a fantastic student-athlete and fan event that they were unable to attend.
